Contributions to Mathematics (ISSN : 2709-3646)
Author Guidelines
Manuscripts, in pdf format, should be submitted to Managerial Secretary via email address m.secretary-cm@shahindp.com. At the time of manuscript submission, the corresponding author may suggest the detail of some potential referees. The editorial team member that handles the manuscript may or may not consider such suggested referees. If a manuscript is accepted for publication, its source files in LaTeX form will be required for editing purposes.
Submission of a manuscript to the “Contributions to Mathematics” implies that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere, is not currently submitted for publication elsewhere, and, if accepted by this journal, will not be published elsewhere.
The following two types of articles are published by this journal: Research Articles, Review Articles. A research article must consist of a maximum of 10 published pages. The page limit for the review articles is 30 pages.
The front matter for research/review articles must include the Article’s Title, Authors’ List, Authors’ Affiliations, Abstract, and Keywords. One of the sections of the research/review articles must be titled ‘Introduction’ or some similar text. There must be at least one section after the section ‘Introduction’; possibly ‘Results’, etc. The section about conclusions is optional. References are listed in the back matter. The authors may use the template of this journal for preparing their submissions.
The resolution of the figures should be suitably high (minimum 300 dpi or at least 1000 pixels width/height). There should be an explanatory headline for each table column. All tables and figures must have their captions and must be placed into the main text near their initial reference.
The language of the manuscript should be English. The writing must be clear, unambiguous, and grammatically correct. The authors are requested to run their paper through a spell checker before submission. While preparing a manuscript for submission, the following points are suggested to be considered:
- Title: The title of the manuscript should be very precise and it should cover the theme of the manuscript. It is desired, although not compulsory, to avoid using any mathematical formula and/or abbreviation in the title.
- Authors’ Names and Affiliations: Authors’ full names are preferred. However, in the case where an author has more than two names, at least two full names are required. It is desired, although not compulsory, to avoid using any abbreviation in the authors’ affiliations.
- Abstract: The main findings should be stated briefly in the abstract. It is desired, although not compulsory, to avoid using any mathematical formula and/or reference(s) in the abstract.
- Keywords: The manuscript should contain at least three keywords.
- Introduction: The main findings of the articles should be briefly described in the introduction section along with their background and significance. Key papers related to the article should be referenced, and a thorough analysis of the state of the research area should be conducted in this section. It is important to keep the introduction section as simple as possible so that scientists from other fields may understand it quickly.
- Acknowledgment: The Acknowledgement section (if needed) should be placed at the end of the manuscript, but preceding the References section.
- References: The references that are not cited in the manuscript’s text should be removed. The entries in the references list should be in alphabetical order according to the last name of the first author listed. If the authors cite the papers that have been retracted, they should include the rationale for doing so in the manuscript’s text, and they should indicate the articles retracted status in the references list. If the authors cite an erroneous paper whose corrections are available in another paper/note, they should cite also the paper/note addressing the corrections. For preparing the references list, the following way by which references are quoted is desired to follow:
